The Teaneck Police Department Wants You: Experience the Force -- Make a Difference!

The Teaneck Police Department is inviting women and men to apply to take the forthcoming law enforcement examination, the first step toward becoming a member of the department.
All women and men ages 18 to 35 who are United States citizens and residents of Teaneck are eligible to take the exam, which will be administered by the New Jersey Civil Service Commission. The closing date for applying for the examination is September 4, 2013. Complete details are available at the Civil Service Commission website at http://bit.ly/TPDRecruit. Application can only be made on line.
The Teaneck Police Department will hold information sessions free to the public on July 17 and August 7, 2013 from 7 to 9 p.m. at the police headquarters building, 900 Teaneck Road. Representatives of the department and the Township’s Human Resources Department will be on hand to answer questions about the various aspects, challenges, and rewards of becoming a law enforcement professional.
