Guided Tour of Brett Park at New Bridge Landing
|Date:||September 27, 2015|
|Time:||10:00 AM - 12:00 PM|
Brett Park at New Bridge Landing On Sunday, September 27, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon, Kevin Wright will lead a guided walk around Historic New Bridge Landing. This spring there was a great effort by Friends of the Greenway, the Teaneck Chamber of Commerce, and the Bergen County Historical Society to clean up the overgrowth along the Greenway in Brett Park by the river. As a result, you can get clear views of the Steuben House from the Teaneck Greenway. To celebrate this hard work, this year Kevin will be focusing on the New Bridge and the Steuben House.
Mr. Wright has been an interpreter at historic sites since 1977. As curator of the Steuben House, a Revolutionary War landmark, he designed events, programs, publications and exhibits. This event is co-sponsored by Friends of the Greenway and the Bergen County Historical Society. Meet at the Teaneck end of the old swing bridge at the northwest corner of Brett Park.
