REMINDER TO CAT OWNERS ABOUT LICENSING - 2017

                          RESIDENTS HAVE UNTIL JUNE 1st 

       TO RENEW THEIR CAT LICENSE WITHOUT PENALTY

The Teaneck Health Department would like to remind cat owners that their 2016 cat license expired on March 30th of this year.  Cat owners who have NOT yet renewed their 2017 cat license, will have until June 1, 2017 to do so without any penalty. The fee is $13 for not spayed or not neutered, and $10 for spayed or neutered. 

As of June 1, 2017, a $15 late fee will be added.  Residents who need renewal applications may obtain one at our service window located at 818 Teaneck Road, South Entrance - 1st floor, or on-line at www.teanecknj.gov  (under Health Department Documents & Forms).  Free rabies shots can be arranged through the Teaneck Animal Clinic and Spa at (201) 530-5833 or the Bergen Veterinary Hospital at (201) 837-3470 (proof of Teaneck residency required).

Cat owners should also note that per State guidelines rabies shots that expire prior to February 1, 2018 are NOT valid for licensing purposes.  License fees can be paid for by check (made out to Township of Teaneck) or by cash.
