The Teaneck Police Department Community Policing Bureau is staffed by Officers dedicated to meeting the Police Department’s mission of developing and maintaining a positive partnership with the community we serve.  Our unit strives to involve the community as partners in problem solving, reducing crime and improving the quality of life in our neighborhoods.  These officers administer community programs (Neighborhood Watches, D.A.R.E., G.R.E.A.T., National Night Out, Citizen’s Police Academy, and Junior Police Academy) in an effort to foster mutually beneficial ties to the community as a whole. It is clear that together, the police and the citizens make a powerful team by working closely to better our Township.
