The Finance Department is responsible for the receipt, safeguarding, investment and disbursement of municipal funds which include tax collection, accounts payable and payroll.  This Department also includes the Registrar of Vital Statistics, who issues all birth, marriage and death certificates, marriage licenses and burial permits.
