Reminder: 2022 Health Department License Renewals

All 2022 licenses (noted below) issued by the Teaneck Health Department expire at the end of day on December 31^st. Businesses, managing agents, landlords, residents and others who need to renew their licenses for 2022 must do so by January 31, 2022 to avoid any penalty.  Applications will be mailed at the end of December to the address on record.  You can also contact our office to have an application e-mailed or faxed.  We can be contacted at (201) 837-1600 (x1500) or by e-mail here.  You can also download many of the applications at our website:  www.teanecknj.gov  (under Health Department Documents & Forms).

The licenses that must be renewed by January 31, 2022 include:

• retail food establishments (includes liquor stores & pharmacies)
• laundries, cleaners, dry cleaners
• single family rentals
• owner occupied single family w/ 1 or 2 boarders
• superintendent’s unit (for apartment buildings)
• public bathing facilities
• vending machines (food or beverage)

*As a note, rented apartments in 2-family houses and multiple-family dwellings are renewed upon vacancy or change of tenant only*
