TEANECK BOARD OF EDUCATION SPECIAL PUBLIC MEETINGS
Wednesday, July 8th and July 15th, 2026 at 7pm
In accordance with the Open Public Meetings Act, P.L. 1975 c 231, the Teaneck Board of Education (“Board”) will hold two Special Public Meetings on Wednesday, July 8th, 2026 and Wednesday, July 15th, 2026 to be held in person at the Central Administrative office located at 651 Teaneck Road, Teaneck, NJ, to start at 7:00pm. At the July 8, 2026 meeting, the Board will review resumes and applications received for the Interim Superintendent of Schools position, as well as those of any other candidates, and will select the candidates it wishes to interview. The Board may also be taking action to accept the resignation of Dr. Andre Spencer, Superintendent. Interviews, and a potential decision on hiring an interim Superintendent of Schools, will take place at the July 15, 2026 meeting. At each meeting, the Board will open the meeting, allow for public participation, and then convene into closed session to discuss personnel matters related to the appointment of an interim Superintendent of Schools. Action may be taken at both meetings. These meetings will not be streamed live.
