At its February 24, 2026 meeting, the Teaneck Township Council awarded the following “Professional Services” contract:

Nature:                PROFESSIONAL LEGAL SERVICES

Duration:            From February 24, 2026 to February 23, 2027

Service:              To serve the Township as Special Counsel

Amount:         will provide the legal services described herein at an hourly rate of $175.00 per hours as authorized by way of Resolution No. 130-2026 adopted by the Township Council on February 24, 2026

Nature:                Professional Engineering Services

Duration:            From February 13, 2024- February 12, 2025

Service:         Township of Teaneck has a need to acquire traffic engineering and traffic planning services for the redevelopment project on Cedar Lane, American Legion Drive, and Beverly Road, as authorized by way of Resolution No. 129-2026 adopted by the Township Council on February 24, 2026.

Amount:       the Chief Financial Officer has determined and certified that the value of theacquisition will exceed $17,500; as authorized by way of Resolution No. 129-2026 adopted by the Township Council on February 24, 2026.

The authorized resolutions and contract are on file in the Township Clerk’s Office and are available for public inspection, during regular business hours.

INTRODUCTION OF ORDINANCES

Notice is hereby given that the following ordinance was introduced and passed upon first reading at a meeting of the Governing Body of the Township of Teaneck, in the County of Bergen, State of New Jersey, February 24, 2026. It will be further considered for final passage, after the Public Hearing thereon, at a meeting of the Governing Body to be held at Governing Body to be held at the Municipal Building Council Chambers, 818 Teaneck Road, Teaneck, New Jersey and facilitated on ZOOM March 16, 2026, at 8:00 p.m.

During the week prior to and up to and including the date of such meeting, copies of the full ordinance will be available at no cost and during regular business hours, at the Township Clerk’s Office for the members of the general public who shall request the same. ADOPTING THE CEDAR LANE CBD REDEVELOPMENT PLAN IN FURTHERANCE OF THE REDEVELOPMENT OF BLOCK 819, LOTS 1, 14, 16 AND 17; BLOCK 707, LOTS 1 – 5; BLOCK 705, LOT 4.01 AS SHOWN ON THE TAX MAP OF THE TOWNSHIP OF TEANECK IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE LOCAL REDEVELOPMENT AND HOUSING LAW, N.J.S.A. 40A:12A-1 ET SEQ.
