Notice is hereby given that the following ordinance was introduced and passed upon first reading at a meeting of the Governing Body of the Township of Teaneck, in the County of Bergen, State of New Jersey, March 10, 2026. It will be further considered for final passage, after the Public Hearing thereon, at a meeting of the Governing Body to be held at the Municipal Building Council Chambers, 818 Teaneck Road, Teaneck, New Jersey and facilitated on ZOOM April 14, 2026, at 8:00 p.m.
During the week prior to and up to and including the date of such meeting, copies of the full ordinance will be available at no cost and during regular business hours, at the Township Clerk’s Office for the members of the general public who shall request the same. Purpose(s): |
The Bond Ordinance provides for (i) the purchase of various vehicles for the Police Department, Fire Department, and the Department of Public Works; (ii) the purchase of various equipment for the Police Department, the Fire Department, and the Department of Public Works; (iii) reconstruction, resurfacing, replacement, and/or upgrades, as applicable, to various roads, sidewalks and curbs throughout the Township; (iv) various repairs and upgrades to the sewer and drainage systems throughout the Township; (v) improvements and the purchase of equipment for various parks throughout the Township; and (vi) improvements and upgrades to various municipal facilities.
