Notice is hereby given that the following ordinance was introduced and passed upon first reading at a meeting of the Governing Body of the Township of Teaneck, in the County of Bergen, State of New Jersey, April 14, 2026. It will be further considered for final passage, after the Public Hearing thereon, at a meeting of the Governing Body to be held at Governing Body to be held at the Municipal Building Council Chambers, 818 Teaneck Road, Teaneck, New Jersey and facilitated on ZOOM April 28, 2026, at 8:00 p.m.

Purpose(s): |
The Bond Ordinance provides for (i) the purchase of various vehicles and equipment for the Police Department, Fire Department, and the Department of Public Works; (ii) the reconstruction, resurfacing, replacement, and/or upgrades, as applicable, to various roads, sidewalks and curbs throughout the Township; (iii) various repairs and upgrades to the sewer and drainage systems throughout the Township; (iv) improvements and the purchase of equipment for various parks throughout the Township; and (v) improvements and upgrades to various municipal facilities. PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT
At its April 14, 2026, the Teaneck Township Council awarded the following “Professional Services” contract:
Name: Pennoni Associates Inc.
Nature: Professional Engineering Services
Duration: From April 14, 2026 to April 13, 2027
Service: to conduct an audit of Township of all of the Township of Teaneck’s water usage data and sewer usage data for the 2023, 2024, and 2025, as authorized by way of Resolution No. 176-2026 adopted by the Township Council on April 14, 2026.
Amount: The Township agrees to pay Pennoni Associates Inc. a fee for providing all the work listed above at a cost not to exceed $19,500.00.
The authorized resolutions and contract are on file in the Township Clerk’s Office and are available for public inspection, during regular business hours.
