NOTICE OF PENDING ORDINANCE AND SUMMARY

Notice is hereby given that the following ordinance was introduced and passed upon first reading at a meeting of the Governing Body of the Township of Teaneck, in the County of Bergen, State of New Jersey, June 16, 2026. It will be further considered for final passage, after the Public Hearing thereon, at a meeting of the Governing Body to be held on ZOOM July 21, 2026, at 8:00 p.m.

During the week prior to and up to and including the date of such meeting, copies of the full ordinance will be available at no cost and during regular business hours, at the Township Clerk’s Office for the members of the general public who shall request the same.  The title and summary of the terms of such ordinance are as follows:

AUTHORIZING THE TOWNSHIP OF TEANECK TO ENTER INTO AN

ACCESS AGREEMENT WITH 713-719 TEANECK LLC FOR ACCESS

AT BLOCK 705 LOT 4.01 AMERICAN LEGION DRIVE

WHEREAS, 713-719 TEANECK LLC, is the owner of certain real property located at American

Legion Drive, Lot 705, Lot 4.01, Teaneck, Bergen County, New Jersey (“property”); and

WHEREAS, 713-719 TEANECK LLC seeks permission from the Township of Teaneck to enter

onto the property to perform an environmental work, which includes installing a groundwater

monitoring well and two temporary wellpoints;

WHEREAS, the terms of the contract are set forth in the enclosed contract; and

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Governing Body of the Township of Teaneck,

for the reasons set forth above, as follows:

1. The Township is authorized to enter into a contract with 713-719 TEANECK LLC

permitting 713-719 TEANECK LLC to access American Legion Drive (Lot 705, Lot 4.01)

Teaneck, Bergen County, New Jersey to conduct an environmental work, including installing a

groundwater monitoring well and two temporary wellpoints.

2. The Mayor is hereby authorized to execute a contract, in a form acceptable to the

Township Manager, and any related documents.

3. This Resolution shall be published in the Township’s official website as required by

law within ten days of its passage.
