Notice is hereby given that the following Ordinance of the Township of Teaneck has passed its second and final reading and was adopted by the Township Council of the Township of Teaneck on September 1, 2026

AMENDING THE TOWNSHIP CODE AS TO DESIGNATED SCHOOL ZONES TO INCLUDE AN AREA OF FABRY TERRACE

NOTICE OF PENDING ORDINANCE AND SUMMARY

Notice is hereby given that the following ordinance was introduced and passed upon first reading at a meeting of the Governing Body of the Township of Teaneck, in the County of Bergen, State of New Jersey, June 16, 2026. It will be further considered for final passage, after the Public Hearing thereon, at a meeting of the Governing Body to be held be held at the Municipal Building Council Chambers, 818 Teaneck Road, Teaneck, New Jersey and facilitated on ZOOM September 22, 2026, at 8:00 p.m.

During the week prior to and up to and including the date of such meeting, copies of the full ordinance will be available at no cost and during regular business hours, at the Township Clerk’s Office for the members of the general public who shall request the same.  The title and summary of the terms of such ordinance are as follows:

AMENDING SECTION 36-11.2 OF CHAPTER 36 OF THE TOWNSHIP CODE FOR THE TOWNSHIP OF TEANECK ADDING A RESTRICTED ON-STREET PARKING SPACE FOR HANDICAPPED PARKING AT 102 CIRCLE DRIVEWAY

AMENDING SECTION 36-11.2 OF CHAPTER 36 OF THE TOWNSHIP CODE FOR THE TOWNSHIP OF TEANECK ADDING A RESTRICTED ON-STREET PARKING SPACE FOR HANDICAPPED PARKING AT 685 SUFFERN ROAD

The authorized resolutions and contract are on file in the Township Clerk’s Office and are available for public inspection, during regular business hours.
