NOTICE TO BIDDERS: KIPP STREET DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENTS

NOTICE TO BIDDERS

Sealed bids will be received, opened, read aloud by the Township Purchasing Agent in the Township of Teaneck, Municipal Building, Council Chambers, 818 Teaneck Road, Teaneck, NJ 07666 in the County of Bergen and State of New Jersey on Tuesday, September 29th, 2026, at 1:00 PM prevailing time for:

KIPP STREET DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENTS
TOWNSHIP OF TEANECK
BERGEN COUNTY, NEW JERSEY

The work to be performed under this contract includes the following:

Drainage improvements and resurfacing of Kipp St in the Township of Teaneck, reconstruction of curb ramp according to ADA standards, replacement of concrete vertical curb where required, and traffic striping.

Principal items of work in the project include:

· 4 Unit Manhole, 5’ Diameter

· 4 Unit Inlet Type ‘B’ with Bicycle Safe Grate and Curb Piece

· 1,150 LF 15” RCP Class V

Paper copies of plans, specifications and bid documents may be obtained upon payment of $75 OR $75 + $15 postage and handling nonrefundable payable to Fastech Consulting Engineers, either by mailing a check to Fastech Consulting Engineers, 235 Moore Street, Suite 200, Hackensack, NJ 07601 or by filling out a request form at http://www.fastech-eng.com. Each bid must be made upon the prescribed forms, furnished with the Contract Drawings and Specifications.

Bids will be accepted in the following ways:

1. Bids will be received at the time and on the date specified above. Bids submitted at this time shall be addressed to Farah Gilani, Teaneck Township Engineer, C/O Township Clerk, Township of Teaneck 818 Teaneck Road, Teaneck, New Jersey and shall satisfy all previously mentioned requirements.

2. Bids can be mailed: All mailed bids shall be addressed to Farah Gilani, Teaneck Township Engineer, C/O Township Clerk and clearly marked on the outside of the envelope:

“Bid for Kipp Street Drainage Improvements”

All mailed bids shall be mailed employing a formal mail receipt procedure such as Certified Return Receipt and shall also satisfy all of the above requirements.

3. Bids can be hand delivered prior to the date or hour specified. In this case, the bids shall be delivered to Farah Gilani, Teaneck Township Engineer, C/O Township Clerk, Township of Teaneck 818 Teaneck Road, Teaneck, New Jersey and shall also satisfy all the above requirements.

It is the Bidder’s responsibility to make sure that the bid is submitted on time and to the proper location.

The work shall be completed within Thirty (30) consecutive calendar days from the date of the notice to proceed.

“Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of N.J.S.A 10:5-31 et. seq., and N.J.A.C. 17:27 et seq.”

Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of NDAA section 889 and the Byrd-Lobbying Amendment (31 U.S.C. 1352).

All bids shall be irrevocable, not subject to withdrawal once opened, and shall stand available for a period of sixty (60) days except as may be permitted by N.J.S.A. 40A:11-23.3.
