Votee Park Splash Pad Info

Located at the north end of Votee park in Teaneck.

What is a Splash Pad? Great question! Splash Pads are also known as spray parks or
water playgrounds. It is simply an area fitted with a non-slip surface and various
nozzles and colorful features that can shower, spray, rain, mist, and shoot streams of
water to create an awe-inspiring and inviting place for recreational water play. Splash
Pads are designed to operate with virtually zero water depth. As the water splashes
onto the surface, it is collected, filtered, sanitized, and re-circulated to keep the water
fun flowing in an eco-friendly way.

So grab your towels and get ready for fun in the sun! The Splash Pad will be open
from 10:00am to 8:00pm starting on May 24, May 25, and May 26 (Memorial Day) It
will remain open weekends only until June 29 * where it will open 7 days a week
(weather permitting) until September 1 (Labor Day). The Splash Pad will remain open
weekends only until September 28.

Water features will be set on timers for all to use. By placing your hand on the sensor
on the post, the water feature will be activated and the fun will begin! Splash Pads
provide a wide range of sensory experiences that encourage motor skills
development, cross generational play, social development, collaboration and
cognitive and physical development.
