Winter Storm Update! All non-essential municipal offices will be closed on Monday, January 26th. Recycling collection is also canceled and rescheduled for:

Zone 1: Tuesday, January 27

Zone 2: Wednesday, January 28

Zone 3: Thursday, January 29

Zone 4: Friday, January 30

Please note that on Sunday January 25th, the Rodda Center, Teaneck Public Library and Recycling Depot will be closed in anticipation of the upcoming winter storm. Curbside recycling collection will not be picked up on Monday January 26th and is rescheduled. Municipal Court sessions on the 26th are also canceled.

Due to the predicted winter weather this weekend, Jan 25 - 26, The January 26 2026 1PM Court Session -  is CANCELLED.  

Due to the expected winter storm, the Teaneck Recycling Depot will be CLOSED on SUNDAY, JANUARY 25th.

The Teaneck Community Chorus concert originally scheduled for Sunday, January 25, at Teaneck High School, has been POSTPONED and rescheduled for Sunday, February 22, 2026, at 3:00 P.M., also at the high school.

WINTER STORM WATCH January 24th - January 26th 

PARKING IN ALL MUNICIPAL LOTS WILL BE OPEN AS OF 12 NOON ON FRIDAY, JANUARY 23RD! All meter fees will be suspended for the duration of the storm. 

***SNOW EMERGENCY IS IN EFFECT AS OF 11:30PM on SATURDAY, JANUARY 24TH *** 

IF YOU WILL BE OUT OF TOWN FOR THE WEEKEND OR UNABLE TO MOVE YOUR VEHICLE FROM A DESIGNATED SNOW STREET, PLEASE TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THE PARKING OPTION IN OUR MUNICIPAL LOT(S).

ONCE THE SNOW EMERGENCY IS IN EFFECT, SNOW TICKETS WILL BE ISSUED ACCORDINGLY.  

Due to the expected winter storm, the Teaneck Recycling Depot will be CLOSED on SUNDAY, JANUARY 18th.

The Township of Teaneck Board of Education in the County of Bergen, New Jersey, shall hold meetings hereinafter indicated for the purpose or purposes as stated in the meeting agendas and such other business or matters that may come before the Board in a manner consistent with the requirements of Chapter 231, Laws of 1975, and Board of Education Policy.  The Board reserves the right to convene into Executive Session during any duly advertised meeting. Formal action will be taken at the scheduled Workshop and/or Regular Public Meetings. All Meetings are scheduled to start at 7:00pm, except as otherwise noted.
