Engineering Permits

Placing a dumpster requires a permit. If the dumpster will be placed in your driveway, you must apply for a Zoning Permit through the Building Department. If it will be placed on the road or sidewalk, you must apply for a permit from the Engineering Department using SDL. 

Fees for street and sidewalk dumpsters:

• Initial placement and first day - $75.00
• Per day, after day one - $50.00

Fees for sidewalk and street obstruction:

• Initial placement and first day - $75.00
• Per day, after day one - $50.00

Concrete Roadways

• Up to 5 square yards - $800.00
• Each additional square yard - $100.00

Bituminous Concrete, Macadam, etc. Roadways

• Up to 5 square yards - $300.00
• Each additional square yard - $30.00

Unimproved Streets

• Up to 5 square yards - $75.00
• Each additional square yard - $10.00

Road Opening Permit Application

• Site Plans – Simple - $2,000.00
• Site Plans – Complex - $3,000.00
• Minor Subdivision - $1,500.00
• Major Subdivision - $3,000.00
• Variance – Simple - $1,000.00
• Variance – Complex - $2,500.00

*Maximum Determined by Township Engineer

• In-House Review – Development Proposal – Minimum - $300.00
• Pending Assessment Estimate - $25.00
• Sewer Record Map - $10.00

• Initial Permit Fee - $250.00
• Annual Permit Fee - $100.00
• Telephone, Enclosure and Appurtenances Release Fee (Plus Township-Incurred Costs to Remove) - $200.00

Refrigerators, freezers, dehumidifiers, water coolers and air conditioners Fee to remove Freon from these units (per unit) - $20.00

• Drug-Free School Zone Map - $10.00
• Drug-Free Zone Map - $10.00
• Tax Assessment Map, per Sheet - $10.00
• Tax Assessment Map Set - $300.00
• Sanitary Sewer - Replacement of Existing - $250.00
• Sewer Connection – New

  • New Residential (Per Unit) - $500.00
  • Non-Residential - $750.00
• Storm Drain Connection - $100.00

Non-Managerial/Non-Executive Clerical – Per Hour and Managerial/Executive Professional – Per Hour:
