PUBLIC NOTICE OF THE TOWNSHIP COUNCIL OF THE TOWNSHIP OF TEANECK BERGEN COUNTY, NEW JERSEY: ORDINANCE NO. 6-2024

AN ORDINANCE ACCEPTING THE DEDICATION OF A PORTION OF THE PROPERTY LOCATED AT BLOCK 3003, LOTS 2 AND 3 ON THE OFFICIAL TAX MAP, MORE COMMONLY KNOWN AS CHADWICK ROAD FOR THE PURPOSES OF DEVELOPING AND MAINTAINING A PUBLIC RIGHT- OF-WAY CUL-DE-SAC

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Township Council shall conduct a public hearing on Ordinance No. 6-2024 on May 7, 2024, at 8:00 p.m., or as soon thereafter as the matter can be reached, at a meeting of the Township Council, in the Council Chambers of the Municipal Building, 818 Teaneck Road Teaneck, NJ 07666 & on ZOOM at which time and place all persons interested will be given an opportunity to be heard regarding the ordinance. Formal Action may be taken. Agenda & Zoom information may be obtained on the Township’s website (www.Teanecknj.gov), under Meetings/Agendas/Minutes of the Township Council

The purpose of Ordinance No. 6-2024 is to vacate a portion of Chadwick Road beginning from the southerly sideline of Cedar Lane which is no longer required for general public use and will be included as part of the newly created Hospital H Zoning District and available for future development by Holy Name Medical Center. The portion of Chadwick Road proposed to be vacated begins from the southerly side of Cedar Lane and extends in a southwesterly direction approximately 860.50 feet. The proposed street vacation is bordered by Lot 14 and a portion of Lots 3 and 4 in Block 3003 and Lots 2.01, 7, 8 and a portion of Lot 9 in Block 3002, as shown on the Official Tax Map of the Township of Teaneck, commonly known as 718 Teaneck Road, 70 Cedar Lane and 83, 87, 88, 95 and 100 Chadwick Road.
