Announcing 4-Week Exploring Careers in Aging Internship

Age Friendly Teaneck (www.agefriendlyteaneck.org) is excited to announce the details of its four-week summer internship for rising high school juniors and seniors and we hope you will be too! 

As a way to educate and encourage students to consider elder care and related professions as career paths, in Summer 2024 the four-week Exploring Careers in Aging Internship for four (4) outstanding and motivated Teaneck students will start on July 8. Each student will receive a $1,500 stipend. 

The internship will combine a dynamic curriculum, real-world experience and one-on-one connections with professionals in the fields of geriatric-related social work, geriatric wellness, technology, home care, recreation, food service, housing, elder law, design and construction and business management. Interns will be supervised by a team of seasoned and knowledgeable professionals.

Deadline to apply for these positions is April 26.
