ORDINANCE NO. 7-2024

AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 57-2021 PERMITTING CANNABIS ESTABLISHMENTS AS A CONDITIONAL USE WITHIN THE LIGHT INDUSTRY DISTRICT IN THE TOWNSHIP OF TEANECK

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Township Council shall conduct a public hearing on Ordinance No. 7-2024 on May 21, 2024, at 8:00 p.m., or as soon thereafter as the matter can be reached, at a meeting of the Township Council, in the Council Chambers of the Municipal Building, 818 Teaneck Road Teaneck, NJ 07666 & on ZOOM at which time and place all persons interested will be given an opportunity to be heard regarding the ordinance. Formal Action may be taken. Agenda & Zoom information may be obtained on the Township’s website (www.Teanecknj.gov), under Meetings/Agendas/Minutes of the Township Council and as listed below

The purpose of Ordinance No. 7-2024 is to establish an application and licensing procedure, as well as clarifies the Township Council’s jurisdiction over granting, rescinding, and re-affirming approval of a potential applicant. The proposed ordinance in addition clarifies fees, fines, definitions, and defines License Types and their corresponding Caps. A copy of Ordinance No. 7-2024 is available in the Office of the Township Clerk and may be viewed on the Township’s website (www.Teanecknj.gov ).
